Discuss the idea. Respect the person.
A useful discussion needs room for disagreement and clear limits on abuse.
Stay on the topic
TallyOz publishes the discussion posts. Comment on the topic and explain your reasoning. Replies should add context, ask a genuine question or challenge an argument with evidence. Support for any lawful political position is welcome under the same rules.
What is not allowed
No threats, hate, harassment, personal abuse, defamation, spam, impersonation or exposure of someone’s private information. Do not present allegations about a person as established fact without reliable support. Do not publish phone numbers, addresses, financial details or other sensitive personal data.
Moderation and accountability
Users remain responsible for their comments. TallyOz may remove material that breaks these rules and restrict repeat offenders. Political agreement or disagreement is not a moderation criterion. Reporting and review controls must be available before paid commenting launches.
